SCENARIO 1 : Answer the Call

You are in on a conference call with an important client. The client is on the other end of the line and the project team is assembled in the boardroom waiting to start the call. Your boss (the one who is supposed to lead the call) is late by 10 minutes and the client is getting frustrated. Would You:

Explain the situation to the client and ask them to wait another 5 minutes; in the meantime, you ask the designer who worked on the project to give the client a bit of background on the process leading up to what you are about to discuss

Apologize and suggest you reschedule the call

Jump in and kick off the meeting agenda on behalf of your boss
