At the last minute, in your last class of the week, the professor assigns a whole ton of reading to do on top of your regular reading assignment. Caught by surprise and not having planned on having all of this work over the weekend, you:
Find someone elses review of the readings online – you want to keep your standing at the top of the class, but dont see why you should have to sacrifice your weekend to do so
Suggest to a few classmates that you each own a section of the readings, and just share notes, so that you dont all have so much extra work to do
Accept it - this just happens occasionally and is sometimes necessary to make sure that everything is covered in class that needs to be covered, to make sure you get the best education possible
Consider just skimming, or even skipping, the extra readings – its not like anyones going to know
Plan out the number of pages you want to finish reading each day leading up to the next class when you are supposed to have completed the reading, to ensure you remain on track
